Irial Finan wins the Green Tour Jacket for the 1st time and sets a cumulative record of 160 points, 10 points clear of his nearest rival. Irial never faltered with a comfortable 17 points on the front nine and pulled away on the back nine with birdies on holes 11 and 12 – he also lipped out for birdie on hole 13 after winning closest to the pin. Irial scored a very impressive 21 points on the back nine for a total of 38 points. Irial throw away round was 35 points, which was higher than 17 other members best round, including my own! A big congratulations to Irial!!!
Colm Reilly finished second with a score of 150 points that would ordinarily have been enough to win The Green Jacket. Colm started slow with 14 points on the front nine but shot a gross 34 on the back nine for 23 points – a total of 37 points. Hard luck Colm – great playing.
Noel Goggin had the best stableford score of the day with 39 points and finished an overall 3rd.
Ciaran Morris and Chris Kendrick both shot a strong 37 points and finished tied for 4th.
Kieran McGill won the 2nd closest to the pin on hole 6.

Congratulations also to Colm Reilly, Stephen Colman and Eoin Lehane who won the Bowl, Plate and Shield, respectively.
